Hi Lincoln, my name is Pearce and I’m a grade five student at Central Elementry school. I really liked you’re living book. My favourite part of the living book was when Lincoln hit the ball on his last swing when the coach threw it. My connection to the living book was when I never gave up when I tried to play tennis and I finally was able to play it. My other favourite part of the living book was when Lincoln ran to the first base with pride. I learned that when things are tough never give up.
Hello Lincoln, my name is Shelly from Central and I’m in grade 6. I really enjoyed your story “Never Give Up”. My favourite part of the story was when you hit the ball on the last try. You sounded so happy when you finally hit the ball in the end. I did something without giving up once as well. When I was 7, I was in karate. It was hard but, I didn’t give up. I think you did well telling, your story. You had lots of enthusiasm especially when you said you hit the ball. I learned that even if some things hard, don’t give up.
Hi Lincon my name is Connor from central elementary school wow your story was great and inspiring. My favorite part was when you hit the ball on the third try third times the charm. I could really hear the excitement in your voice when you it the ball. My connection is when I was rock climbing at a fair and I was half way up and I wanted to give up, but I didn’t and I kept climbing and I made it to the top. You did a great job on your living book I loved it. I learned to never give up and to try, try, try.
Lincoln my name is Elijah. My favourite part was when you hit the ball. I liked it because you were on your third ball. My connection is about when you hit the ball on the third try. I did the same in baseball. Your book was amazing. The moral was the best. I learned never give up.
Hi, Lincoln, I’m Madison, a grade 5 student from Central Elementary. I enjoyed listening to your story, “Never Give Up”. Your story was short, but it sent a very ‘deep’ message. My favorite part of your story was when you hit the ball, your voice was exciting and made the story more fun. I can make a connection to my football. I used to play football, but it got to hard for me. I wanted to give up. So I did. I didn’t even try to continue playing. But looking back on it now I could have toughed it out and finished the rest of the season, but I quit half way through the year. This story taught me to learn to take risks, and never give up on something that you want, or committed to. I will never forget from your story to never give up, and just keep on trying, if you do keep trying one day, you will achieve your goal.
Hello Lincoln, my name is Justice and I, really liked your story. my favourite part of the story was when you hit the ball because you tried your best.
