My favourite part of your story was when you threw the piece of plastic in the lake and then jumped in for it. My connection is when I was 4 I threw a plastic bag in a lake and then stared at it and got dizzy and fell in and i was just learning to swim 🙂

I like your story because it had a great lesson in it. My favourite part was when you randomly just threw the cup in the water. I thought that part was a little humourous. A connection I had to your story was when my grandma almost drowned at the leisure center because of the waves. I had this connection because when you said the word drown I thought of that time. I also liked the part where you thought you would be shark food. I thought that part was also a little humourous. I learned that you should always think before you act.

I had a connection to what you learned about the story because I almost fell down Elk Mountain and I should have thought before I did. I think the big idea is Think before you do just like you said. I really liked your lively story. My favourite part is when you threw the cup in the lake and then realized your mistake I liked this part because it was funny when you watched and realized your mistake.one part I connected to, was when you dived into the lake from the dock because I also dive from a dock into a lake. I thought your Living Library was incredible and very detailed! My favourite part of your book was when you jumped in the lake after throwing your cup in the lake for no reason, and hanging off the dock yelling for help. I thought that part was hilarious because at the time you thought there were sharks in the water and you couldn’t swim.
I remember a time when my friend and I would got to the pool and whenever we would go swimming in it we would always think there were sharks in the pool.

I won’t forget the time when you through the cup in the water and you jumped right in to the lake. What I learned in this story is not to jump in a lake when you can’t swim, especially when there’s no parents around because you’ll be hanging of the deck yelling for help. I thought your story was really good. My favorite part was when you regretted throwing the cup into the water and jumping in after it. One part I didn’t enjoy was when you fell into the water because you could have died. My connection is when you fell into the water and did not know how to swim. The same thing happened to me when I was 5 years old and I did not know how to swim. I throw my pop can into the water and my sister pushed me in and told me to go and get it. I did not know how to swim so she got my mom and told her I fell in. One thing I learned from your experience is to have a friend to help you or family and to not throw stuff in to the water.
I enjoyed the humor in your story: Summer trouble. My favourite part of your Living Book was when you were in the water thinking about Jaws because that struck me with humor. My connection to your Living Book is when you through the cup in the water at your friend’s cottage. I made this connection because one of my auntie’s friends dropped her metal water bottle in the lake at our cabin.

Hi, I’m Chance, and I’m commenting on your story because I found it interesting. My favourite part of your story is when you thought a 20 inch shark was going to eat you. That was the best part! I have a connection. I once fell into a lake myself. I started to drown, but lucky for me my dad was around. That was a close one! Question time! If a shark did come for you, even if it was a lake, what would you do? One thing I won’t forget is how you knew about Jaws when you were only four. Wow! Your story “Summer Trouble” was a stupendous story! Hope you have more stories to tell!

Your Living Book was hilarious! My favourite part of your living book was when you thought that a 25ft shark would eat you! (But I’m glad that it didn’t.) Your story was very detailed which made it extra interesting.
My favourite part of your story, was when you said “Without thinking, I threw the cup in the lake!” This was my favourite part because it was so interesting and unusual.
A connection I made was when I was sitting on the dock of birch bay, drinking pop, even though pop isn’t exactly lemonade.
I liked that you were detailed, but straight to the point. I liked that because, it helped me to fully understand your story.

My favourite part of your story was when you said that you were afraid that a 25ft shark would eat you because you were thinking of the movie Jaws. It was funny because you said that you would be shark food even though you were in a lake.
A connection that I have with your living book is that when I was 5, I fell in a lake and I also thought I would be shark food. I was also on a dock when I fell off.
I have a question: Why did you throw the cup into the lake? Was it because it was a paper cup and you wanted to see it float?

I liked your story: “Summer Trouble”. My favorite part is when you just hopped in the lake! It was funny because you just did it out of nowhere! This reminds me of the many times (72) I fell behind the couch! Man did that hurt! Now I can never trust an old dock over a giant lake! From listening to this story, I have learned never to sit on the back of the couch again.
My name is Trevor and I think your story was frightening. I think the main idea of your story is “thinking” because not a lot of that happened in the first bit of the story. My favorite part of your story was when you threw the lemonade cup in the lake for no apparent reason because it was pretty funny how you then jumped in and got yourself stuck in a lake. I had connection to the part when your dad laughed at the story even though you tried to change the story in order to stop him from laughing at you because trust me, I have that happen to me way to many times. From what I learned is that you should always think through your actions before you do them.
Summer trouble is definitely a different story then I’ve heard be for. Here are some things about your story. My favourite part is when you said “you were thinking of Jaws and thought it was going to eat you”. I liked that part because I thought that was funny then again you were a little kid. My connection is when you jumped into the water but you said you fell in. last summer my brother in law had this great Idea to push me off the dock when I was at the end of the dock the water was cold so I swam as fast as I could to the ladder. I have a question for you why did you not go in the water for 24 hours. I asked this question because when I was around that age my dad couldn’t get me out of the water when we went swimming so he had to bribe me to get me out. What I learned from your story is to not leave little kids unattended by water or deep water.
